I never posted the photos from our grandaughter Tru's birthday party.
The party was a "Princess Party," and Tru and some of her cousins and friends dressed in their favorite princess costume.
Then the special, surprise guest of honor arrived. The REAL Cinderella came to play at the party! She was so beautiful and all the little girls were just in awe. She told us she had just come from a ball at her castle with many of the other princesses, like Sleeping Beauty, Ariel and Snow White. We know Tru is our little princess and we love her so much!
Cinderella taught the girls how to twirl in their dresses...And how to curtsey and hold their pinkey fingers when they hold a teacup. After about thirty minutes, Cinderella had to go back to her castle. Oh, oh...we knew this was coming...tender little Tru was broken hearted. She sobbed and cried and almost couldn't go on with her party.
But finally she drowned her sorrows in presents and cake. (Hey, that's a pretty good cure for any girl's blues, huh?)
Only problem with the "Princess" party, is the boy-cousins weren't too keen on talking about finding their "Prince Charming!" Fisher was a good sport and tolerated the foo-foo well.
